Requirements to Become a Real Estate Agent
To be eligible to become a licensed real estate salesperson, you must:
- Be at least 18 years or older (some select states require 19 years of age)
- Have legal US residency
- Complete your required pre-license education (number of hours varies per state)
- Pass the Real Estate Licensing State Examination

I couldn't recommend Eva Ling at Weicherts more! My partner and I were looking to buy our first home together and Eva and her team were with us at every step of the way. She was very open and honest with us about certain properties that may not be cost effective in the future as far as repairs and showed us many different options in a very short time. She was extremely quick to respond to us and was always on the phone with us keeping us updated. She would make it a priority to show us houses as so as possible and would was also at our side.
